CC-PRIME: NSF funding for cleanroom training

In October 2019, a team of educators from Santa Barbara Community College and U.C. Santa Barbara submitted an NSF proposal to try to build a cleanroom training program targeting local city college students, in order to give CC students access to the many loca micro/nanotechnology jobs in the area.

Although this particular proposal was not selected for funding, the effort is still underway to build a new workforce training pipeline for technician and engineers at local manufacturing companies.
